Vatican, with Great Britain Newspaper wrappers (2) and covers at 2½
d. and 3 d. rates, registered cover from Ireland at 4½ d. rate,
1914 covers from USA franked at both 5 c. and 10 c. rates and a
registered cover at 20 c. rate, covers from France (8), registered
covers from Argentina (one AR cover) at 36 c. or 48 c. rates,
further covers from Belgium (2), Brazil and Venezuela. An unusual
group. Note: Giacomo della Chiesa (1853-1922) was born in Genova,
and served as Pope Benedict XV from 1914-1922.
