block of four, foreign destinations including 1950 Indianapolis to
Canada and 1950 New York to France, assessed postage due; foreign
origins including 1950 cover from Canada to Boston with both
Canadian and United States Special Delivery stamps; 1949 incoming
cover to Amsterdam, New York, from Hobart, Australia, redirected to
Fort Johnson; 1951 franking on 1 c. Jefferson postal card; 1950
Special Delivery postage due cover, with multiple attempted
deliveries; several examples in combination with other Special
Delivery issues, noting 1942 War Damage Coroporation penalty parcel
post tag with two 10c grey violet Special Delivery, a partial tag
combination usage with 1925 20c black Special Delivery, an unusual
4th Class parcel post Prexie franking, c. 1931-48 15c + 10c.
Special Delivery franking with 2c + 30c Hollywood precancels, and
1949 Fourth Class 35 c. rate oversized cover use with 20 c. black
and Prexie franking, the stamps mostly never hinged, the covers
with typical signs of commercial use, but a scarce group of unusual
rates
