1920-1923 Plebiscites, collection of 125 covers or cards from
Allenstein, Marienwerder, Upper Silesia, Eastern Silesia, displayed
on 80 Exhibit pages, with dozens of better items, Registered mail,
Parcel cards, high value frankings, Telegrams, Railway markings,
covers from small towns, forerunners, insured and censored mail,
Money letters, covers from Foreign Delegation, military mail, etc.
Allenstein includes covers from English and Italian Delegations,
packet receipts from Drygallen (Drygaly), Marienfelde (Glasnoty),
Gilgenburg (Dabrowno). From Marienwerder there are covers from the
Japanese Delegations, Plebiscite Commissions, packet receipts, pmks
from Augustwalde (Wisniowa), Markushof (Markusy), Altfelde (Stare
Pole), Registered cover franked with 80pf adhesive, etc. Upper
Silesia features insured cover with 3x50pf on 5M, covers of Paritet
Committees in Brzezie, Zytna, Krolewska Huta, Godow, parcel receipt
franked with sheet margin block of 4x50pf, used from Katscher
(Kietrz), British Army Forces in Upper Silesia, 46th Division of
Alpine Shooters, Italian and French Army markings, Korfanty
Uprising Registered cover sent in Birkental (Brzezinka), 13 covers
from the Polish Post Offices in Upper Silesia, including commercial
cover from Katowice to Nurnberg, franked with 60x5m, Railways post
Sosnica (Wodzislaw Slaski) paid by single 50m, plus others. There
are 14 items from Eastern Silesia, mixed franking Plebiscite Post
and Krakow issue postal stationary card, foreign destinations to
Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Croatia and Liechtenstein. A
splendid Polish Plebiscite Era exhibit (Fi. 200,000+zl)
