Other Mail. 1862 letter from the Druk Desi-Regent to the King of Nepal closing with a good strike of the elaborate square seal (35x37 mm) struck in red, his personal seal on the outside has been covered by a reinforcement repair. The letter is a desperate appeal for help.. "To your Majesty's feet we bow before you who is the Lord of three classes of existence. . You Ghurkha King including the ministers and I the Dhesi-Regent of Druk are bound as Lama and Jindhak [Lama and patron] relation due to our karmic bondage. This relation has been well maintained by the successive kings of Ghurkha and so are we that we cherish now. ... Now it is high time to renovate this self-grown stupa which will cost fifty thousand to sixty thousand Rupees. We wish that we could bear the expenditure, but unfortunately we can't due to our only one crop of rice throughout the year. ... We are nevertheless very constraint with rice alone, so we request to you to kindly issue an edict in order to raise donations from the people. Of course, we will do our best to contribute to this noble project. Moreover, I the Druk Dhesi earnestly request to you to give your protection from fear of hostility with Tibet ...". Circular ...di più India (French Settlement), Pondicherry, 1823, "PONDICHERRY" Circular Handstamp (Giles 1). Very faint but just legible strike, used with "POST PAID" handstamp (Giles unrecorded) on back of 1823 folded letter to Madras, Madras (Sept. 13) arrival backstamp, cover heavily toned, with several insect holes, and some ink erosion, about Fine, a very rare strike with few examples recorded, an affordable example compared to the cover offered in Magnolia Part 3 which brought $8,000 (plus buyer's premium)

letter ...di più India (French Settlement), Karical, 1786 Folded Letter. Folded letter datelined "A Karikal le 8 Juin 1786", presumably written to Madras though without address panel, origin and date confirmed with despatch docketing on second panel, two faint but clear strikes of "POST FREE" oval handstamps (Giles 6), pages heavily toned and completely silked, letter with some ink erosion, still about Fine, quite possibly the earliest recorded letter from Karical in private hands, likely carried privately as the British post office didn't open until 1794

16 July ...di più 1844 Batavia to Macao via Hong Kong — Ship “Emanuel”
16 July 1844, a folded entire originating from Batavia (Dutch East Indies), addressed to Messrs. Reynvaan & Co., Macao, and entrusted to Capt. Van Haverbeck of the ship Emanuel. The original routing via the captain was later crossed out and redirected via Hong Kong.
Marked with a manuscript “4”, likely indicating inter-port charge delivered from Hong Kong to Macao. The reverse bears a clear “HONG KONG / AU 28 / 1844” double-arc postmark.
A Chinese inscription on the reverse reads:
“煩至澳门询交 未士的地文收入 到奉工銀二毛五”
An early incoming mail to Macao from Batavia, Dutch Indies – a good place of origin.
One of the earlier known surviving letters from Batavia to Macao, routed through Hong Kong during the formative years of its colonial postal system, exemplifying early inter-colonial for the multinational postal handling in Macao/Hong Kong.
1844 巴達維亞經香港寄澳門 —「Emanuel」號船
1844年7月16日, 此信件自荷屬東印度巴達維亞（今印尼雅加達）寄出的信函，地址為澳門 Reynvaan & Co. 商號，起初託付給**“Emanuel”號船長 Van Haverbeck轉交。信封原註明的船長收託路線後被劃去，改為經香港轉運**。
信封右上角書寫「4」字樣，應為自港澳間的投遞費 inter-port fee。背面蓋有 “HONG KONG / AU 28 / 1844” 雙圈日戳，為香港殖民地成立初期郵政使用的早期戳記之一。
信封背面另有中文直書題詞：「煩至澳門詢交 未士的地文收入 到奉工銀二毛五」， 意指信內附奉租或工銀二毛五兩，轉交予收款人。
此為一件自巴達維亞寄澳門的早期來信，經由香港轉遞。反映出澳門與香港殖民時期初期郵政體系之跨國轉投遞實例。
