LATI - Westbound Mail from Bohemia and Moravia 1940/41: Group of
seven covers flown by LATI to Southamerica, including two usages to
Buenos Aires, 1940 (Nov.15) envelope from Mährisch Ostrau to
Asuncion, Paraguay, 1940/41 two registered envelopes from Prague to
Santiago de Chile, 1940 (May 4) envelope endorsed 'Via Rome - Rio
de Janeiro' and franked with 21.50 Kc to Lima, Peru as well as 1941
(April 15) censored envelope from Brno to New York franked at the
higher rate of 24 Kc. with OKW censor tape of Munich. A fine and
interesting selection.

LATI - Westbound Mail - Slovakia 1940/41: Group of four envelopes
with three from Bratislava to Buenos Aires (1940 June 4th, 1940)
and two envelopes to Quito Ecuador (1941, March 21st, July 21st)
with one bearing Slovakian censor tape 'CENZUROVANE' as well as
1941 (June 7th) censored envelope from Michalovce to Detroit with
manuscript 'Via Côte du Pacific' in red crayon. All flown from Rome
to Rio de Janeiro by LATI, then either down to Buenos Aires and up
the West Coast of from Rio de Janeiro via Condor. A fine and rare
selection on exhibition pages. LATI mail from Slovakia is much
rarer than mail from Bohemia or Moravia.
1942 Tsingshuiki (27 Jul) to India. Czechoslovak Legation for ...di più
1942 Tsingshuiki (27 Jul) to India. Czechoslovak Legation for China
cover, f.w. SYS x11 on reverse, in total of $6.5, tied by East
Szechuan Tsingshuiki cds. Censored and resealed in India. Arrived
Batangar (12 Aug). Showing airmail and registered label on front.
Probably sent via the Hump. In WWII, Czechoslovak was annexed by
Nazi Germany. However, ROC maintained diplomatic relations with
Czechoslovak government-in-exile.
