pink postal stationery envelope to Lübeck, tied by segmented cork
handstamps in black. Oval framed "PAID" in blue at left, circular
"N. YORK. AM. PKT. / 7 PAID" in red (Sept 9) and framed "AACHEN 22
9 / FRANCO" in blue. Lübeck arrival on reverse (Sept 23). Slightest
aging on perfs. but a charming and scarce usage.

framed "PAID" in blue and the adhesives unusually tied by "N. YORK
BR. PKT. / 7 PAID" circular datestamps in red (Sept 27) and the 3
c. additionally tied by framed "AACHEN 11 10 / FRANCO" in carmine.
Reverse with part flap missing and Lübeck arrival cds (Oct 12) in
black. Minor opening tear at top and some age spots but a rare
usage.
