Red Scinde Dawk Beautiful ½ anna scarlet embossed on wax 1852. Checked by Jochen Heddergott "Some little splitting and small abrasions, generally in a little better condition than usual". As often affixed to part of an old letter to which it did not belong. Bought at a Stanley Gibbons auction 24-25 June 1976 and since then not on the market. Cert RPSL from 1948. VERY FINE & VERY RARE
