Express Michigan City" ornately framed handstamp (Thomas WFE-108, Leutzinger 01-20) with portions of lettering and frame penciled in on blue folded letter to Tandler in San Francisco, Fine, there is some question about whether or not the 3c stamp originates, but this is one of two examples recorded in the Thomas book that do not have an additional forged express marking (added by Georges Carion to many Tandler covers), ex Dale-Lichtenstein (where it realized $600 in 1997), offered "as is"
