Moreton Black collection; a few items have been removed, but the collection retains its integrity, with a considerable number of Plate blocks and variety blocks throughout. A few KG V and Landfall issues included for completeness of the picture. The hundreds of varieties include long ‘E’ blocks - KG V x 2, ½d green (shades including one myrtle) X 7, Landfall x 2, ½d purple x 2; the ‘H’ variety x 3. Coil pairs including the 1d ‘white ear’ full state x 2, these being rare. 2d short 'T’ blocks red x 6, Landfall x 2. Includes the 4d-8d Pictorials and 2/-, 3/- Seals. 1/-s include four examples (all lightly hinged) of the thin striated paper and 10 Plate blocks; 5/- with 17 blocks, 5 having Plate numbers and two with the R10/2 long ‘V’ varieties.
