Fédération Internationale de Philatélie, official double-panel card
bearing the exhibition label “Exposición Filatélica Deportiva $2”
cancelled “INAUGURACIÓN EXPOSICIÓN FILATÉLICA 19 VI 1970,” with a
matching reverse pair of Mexico’s 1970 World Cup stamps cancelled
“CAMPEONATO MUNDIAL DE FÚTBOL 21 VI 1970,” the reverse with twelve
to fourteen contemporary blue-ink signatures of Romania’s 1970
World Cup squad, including Angelo Niculescu, Mircea Lucescu, Florea
Dumitrache, Alexandru Dembrovschi, Cornel Dinu, Mocanu, Lupescu,
and Gergely, a highly attractive and well-preserved card.
