1886/1908: Two registered covers bearing rare US transit registered
labels, comprising; 1886 15 c. blue French stationery envelope
uprated with 5 c. and 30 c. postage, sent from Bordeaux, France to
Mexico City with added "EL PASSO, TEX." three-line registered label
(has a vertical fold through 'X' where it has lifted) and a 1908
cover sent from Bisbee, Arizona to Sonora, Mexico with affixed to
reverse a "NOGALES, ARIZ." transit registered label (left side
marginal prefix wrinkles). Both covers have some imperfections.

prepared for use, 1925 use on 1 c. Jefferson stationery card, two
combined registered special delivery covers, one of which forwarded
upon receipt in England to Addis Abeba; three combined special
delivery airmail covers; desirable 1927 airmail special delivery
cover from Chicago to the Saar, with Express label affixed upon
arrival in the Saar, indicating the service was provided despite
the cover being unpaid; and two unusual usages on covers of foreign
origin, from France and China, the latter being registered, some
typical creasing, a fine group

Falmouth packet service to New York was suspended in late 1826,
letters for America in 1827 were put off at Bermuda, where Cunard
sailing packet was contracted to carry them to Annapolis, Maryland,
where they entered the US mail system. This letter was carried on
the first of only nine monthly voyages to Annapolis before the
British government ended the service. Four letters are recorded
from this voyage, of the 10 recorded from all voyages. A very rare

stampless cover from Norway to South Norwalk, USA, with Copenhagen
