displaying three attempts at delivery, 17 c. foreign destinations
including France and Chile, etc, some small flaws, a diverse and
fine-very fine collection with many difficult items

centavos yellow-brown on rose-buff registration stamp, all fresh
colour and good perforations, tied by cds “RECOMENDADOS BOGOTA ??
94” with cds “RECOMENDADOS BARRANQUILLA 15 DIC 1894” to a mourning
envelope sent to Jersey, Channel Islands, England, addressed to G.
Campbell, Consul for Colombia, with transit red hooded circle
“REGISTERED LONDON 10 JAN 95 21”. Reverse, arrival cds “JERSEY JA
11 95”. Intact black wax seal with coat of arms. Fine. Scarce
tri-colour combination to the Channel Islands.
