single 20pa franking, tied by "SALIF (Yemen)" departure pmk, fine
usage from Yemen (shortly before Turkey entered the war on 2nd
November, 1914)
1926: Inland Postage, 2½ b. black on orange and 5 b. black on

Corazzini of the Italian Diplomatic Mission in Sana'a to Trieste, Italy tied by "SANA'A" negative seal handstamp in black; with Eritrea 50 c. violet and 1 l. 25 c. blue applied for onward transmission tied by "MASSAUA ERITREA / RACCOMANDATE" cds (March 20) in black with registration label at left. Naples transit cds (April 1) and Trieste arrival on reverse. Slight stains from the glue used to apply the Yemeni stamps (issued without gum) otherwise a splendid and an extremly rare and fine cover.

round on bilingually addressed cover to Brno, Czechoslovakia tied
by bold strike of circular "SANA'A" negative seal handstamp in
black (Type 2) with further information strike on reverse. This
cover would have been supplied to the addressee direct from the
Sana'a Post Office upon request and receipt of payment,
nevertheless rare.
