Netherlands 30c. aerogramme to New Zealand from Amsterdam, framed
“RECEIVED AT WELLINGTON IN DAMAGED CONDITION/SALVAGED AT BANGKOK
FROM AIRCRAFT FIRE” cachet and matching O.H.M.S ‘ambulance’
envelope to the addressee and also with the same cachet. Carried on
the Venlo PH-TFF from Amsterdam to Bangkok via Karachi, experienced
a broken propellor blade and fire but still managed to land safely.

Auckland New Zealand. Ankunftsstempel vom 26. Juni 1863 Auckland.
Frankiert mit Sixpence "lilac" AP PA. Lloyd (1810 Dublin bis 1875
Brighton) rettete im Waikatokrieg hunderte Maori, gilt heute als
Volksheld. Einen Großteil seines Nachlasses hält die
Nationalbibliothek in Wellington.

gestempelt "693". Tissiman war "Returning Officer for the Road
District of Omaka". 2 Briefumschläge London 1876 an eine Mrs. Smith
in Otago, Neuseeland, jeweils frankiert mit One Shilling grün.
