The cover with possibility of stamp removed or fallen off in transit as treated initially as unpaid with "3d." applied, this deleted on the Travelling Post Office from Plymouth to Bristol by "B16" barred obliterator. Manuscript notation made by the addressee on arrival "Frank. Fort Hartley 17 Jan". Faults but a very unusual group.
