The auction includes a lot of worldwide philately, mainly in intact lots and collections and also as single items. Main focus is on the Finnish stamps, collections and postal history. The sale includes for example over 45 lots of 1856 oval issues including a rare 5 kopek greenish blue horizontal pair and 5 kopek stamp with very rare narrow-laid paper, plenty of Finnish error stamps like 1866 10 penni colour error (10 penni on 5 penni colour) on a pair, 8 penni with very rare roulette V, 40 penni roulette IV on a letter to St. Petersburg, tête-bêche pairs on later issues, issue 1917 (model Saarinen) including plenty or rarities (perforation and watermark), eg. 1920 10 penni green pair with perforation B and three single stamps, 1925 40 penni AW2 two used stamps, 1927 1 markka AW4, 1927 3 markka AW1 three stamps, two lots including Zeppelin 1830 error print stamps (one single and one in block of four), over 15 copies of Aunus 5 markka and 10 markka stamps, and many other key items in Finnish philately, also plenty of postal items, rare postmarks etc.
Foreign section has plenty of interesting lots, better collections and single items from Europe and overseas. The auction includes eg. many nice lots from USA, nice old worldwide collections, magnificent Norway F. 1 with “Pr. Gustav 29/5” pen maculation etc.
Auction includes also over 100 gold coins like Rome Lucius Verus very rare gold coin and also some other very old cold coins from periods of Abbasids as well as Mongols. Also other ancient coins for example from Ancient Greece and Rome as well as plenty of other interesting coin lots and other collectibles available as well as large selection of Finnish medals and orders.
The auction consists of over 3000 lots.
Short Terms and Conditions
A 23% commission will be added to the final auction price confirmed by auctioneer. Our invoicing applies the margin scheme that is applicable to collector’s items and antiquities according to VAT Act Article 79a. Our invoices do not contain deductible VAT. We charge a handling fee of 5 EUR plus postage according to actual mailing costs for each consignment.
