Featuring some comprehensive single-country collections, large lots & estates. This sale offers a tremendous selection of British North America & Canada stamps, many of which widely regarded by advanced philatelists as some of the very best examples extant. Very strong representation of classic stamps including printings and perforations, with emphasis on rarely seen unused stamps.
Supplementing this marvelous array of postage stamps, there is extensive showing of imperforate pairs issued between the 1890s and early 1940s and one of the most comprehensive collections of Canadian complete Booklets ever to be sold at auction. Of special mention is a family estate comprising Henry Hechler related postal history collections (see lots 402-435) plus incoming mail from Foreign countries, formed by his granddaughter, the late Lorraine Rasmussen, which should no doubt entice interest and spirited bidding.
