Cherrystone - Worldwide Stamps and Covers
Welcome to our December 4-5, 2018 Sale of Rare Stamps and Postal History of the World. With 1,550+ lots, this auction features properties of various owners including George V. Shalimoff’s award winning collections of Russia, M.C. Gilhausen’s Germany and Colonies, David Mace’s collections of China, Chinese Provinces as well as Foreign Offices. Our December sale is well represented with solid United States, South America, Asia, Great Britain and British Commonwealth and rest of the world. As always, there are 150+ large lots and collections, many offered intact, with individual country collections, worldwide accumulations in cartons, exotic flight covers, topicals, including a substantial collection of Boy Scouts on Stamps, plus many others.
Court conditions générales
On all lots sold a commission of 15% on the hammer price is payable by the buyer. If the purchase price has not been paid within the time limit, nor lots taken up within seven days from date of sale they may be resold and any loss arising from such sale will be charged to the defaulter. Any account more than thirty days in arrears is subject to a late payment charge of 2% per month so long as the account remains in arrears. If the auctioneer, in his discretion, should institute any action to secure payment of a delinquent account the defaulting purchaser shall pay all expenses incurred by the auctioneer and such charges will be added to the amount owed.
