15th Rhenumis Auction

05-06 November 2025

The 15th Rhenumis auction will take place on November 5 and 6, 2025. Coins and banknotes will be auctioned at our location in Bonn, while militaria and phaleristics will go under the hammer the following day at our premises in Neuss. As usual, the entire auction will also take place online.

As always, the auction kicks off with a wide selection of Roman and Greek coins. An absolute highlight from the Roman Republic is an aureus of Gaius Julius Caesar (lot 44, estimate € 5,000). Traditionally strong is the beautiful and varied selection of coins from the Habsburgs and Roman-German emperors, from Archduke Ferdinand to Emperor Leopold I to Franz II. As expected, the periods from Old Germany to Weimar are also well represented.

Collectors can expect historical treasures and modern collector's editions from all over the world, both from Europe and overseas. In the modern art sector, China is particularly prominent. On the European continent, the high-caliber offerings continue with additional gold guilders.

In addition to coins, there is also a small but fine selection of medals from Germany, including two Goetz medals in gold.

Once again, we are offering an extensive selection of banknotes from the German Reichsbank. But there are also some special items to be found outside Germany. The selection of banknotes from around the world is equally remarkable.

Just browse through the catalogue. All lots can be found with numerous images and certificates in the online catalogue. Images of collections and individual lots are available.
