1948 (19 FEB) India 4½a blue registered p/s envelope opt
‘PAKISTAN’, endorsed ‘AIRMAIL’ and addressed to Sweden with
sender's address (B.O.A.C., Sharjah, P.O. Dubai) at lower left,
uprated with 1947 3p grey (2), 8a slate-violet, and 12a lake (2),
tied by four strikes of Dubai cds (Donaldson type 6), with boxed
‘DUBAI / PERSIAN GULF DISTRICT’ registration h/s (Donaldson type
9), airmail label, and Malmo post office h/s alongside, a very fine
and exceptionally rare usage.
