Dr. Reinhard Fischer 202nd Auction

2025年11月13日〜14日

The Dr. Reinhard Fischer auction house in Bonn will hold its 202nd auction with more than 5,000 lots on November 13-14, 2025. The selection includes numerous rarities, special items, and a high-quality selection of sought-after editions.

The coveted “Sachsen Dreier” MiNo. 1a is found in exceptionally superb quality on printed matter with an auction price of 6,500. The well-known collector's item is accompanied by certificates from 1939, 1943, and a current photo certificate from Vaatz BPP. Particularly exceptional and rare at the same time is an block of 25 values of the 2 Mark internal service stamp of the German Reich in the reprint from 1899 (MiNo. 37ND). These reprints were produced for the Berlin dealer Kosack. This is the largest known MNH unit of this stamp, which is also in completely original and impeccable condition. Bids starting at €8,000 are being accepted for this showpiece of imperial philately. Among the colonial issues, a pair of the already rare unissued 15 piasters on 3 marks violet-black stamps of the German Post in Turkey is particularly noteworthy. The overprint on the original stamps is found in Type I and Type II (MiNo. VI/I + VI/II). This pair of types, in immaculate MNH condition, is likely to be unique and represents one of the greatest rarities in colonial philately. Accordingly, bids will only be accepted from €20,000. The extensive range of German dependent territories offers numerous rare issues from all collecting areas, including the Saarland's “Urdruck” MiNo. 226/38I, which is almost impossible to find in genuine used condition, with a starting price of €8,000.

Specialized collectors of German occupation stamps from France in Dunkirk will be pleased to see a new entry in the new Michel Specialized Catalog: the 90 C. +25 C. “National Monument” (MiNo. C48II) and 90 C. + 25 C. “Radio for the Blind” (MiNo. D48II) from the charity issue with hand stamp overprint. Neither of these values had previously been recorded in the literature or known to experts in the field, and both are unique items – which, according to the Michel editorial team, served as reference pieces. The stamps are in MH condition – the minimum bids for the two new discoveries are €10,000 each.

In post-war philately, sought-after standard issues as well as rare variants and special features stand out among the lots of “AM-Post” philately from the Bizone. A complete MNH sheet of 100 values of the 40 Pfg in German print, perforated L11:11½ on z-paper (MiNo. 30dBz) will be auctioned. The starting price is €1,500, based on a Michel value of €20,000. For collectors of non-German areas, Dr. Fischer has once again put together a fine selection of Austrian and Swiss items, the former featuring a spectacular new discovery. A mini-sheet of the 55 cent “Haus des Meeres” special stamp issued in 2007 was accidentally left unperforated (MiNo. 2694U). This item, available for the first time, is in MNH condition with a minimum bid of €3,000.

The collection offers high-quality opportunities for collectors and resellers. Nearly all of the almost 500 lots come from collectors. From estates without any withdrawals to well-stocked country collections, such as an extensive, complete collection from Liechtenstein up to 2015, in which the initial values are often accompanied by certificates, to the People's Republic of China collection from the sought-after period 1949/65, including souvenir sheets 5 to 9, there is something of interest for every specialist and collector.

More than 150 collection lots and all individual lots, including their certificates, can be viewed in Dr. Fischer's online catalog. This and further information about the auction and the auction house can be found here.
