The company Filatelie Praha s.r.o. deals mainly with the purchase, sale and mediation of sale of postage stamps and postcards.
We continue a long-term family philatelic tradition.
In 2017, we started running small online auctions on shared or rented websites.
In 2019, our company launched a unique online limit and auction system on our own platform, which was custom-developed for almost a year. We believe that an investment, not only financial, into our own modern system is the right direction. Our company will regularly organize 4 auctions per year. Auctions will include items in all price categories.
The items are described with the utmost care. The material is collected in our store or directly in the comfort of the client's residence.
Our company has always focused on the Czechoslovak stamp market and in the second part of 2019 will try to establish itself on the market of foreign stamps as well.
We offer advice and an individual approach to investors and collectors.

HALL AUCTION in Prague January 25th
Dear ladies and gentlemen, dear collectors and investors:
Allow me to begin with the wish of everything good in the forthcoming year. I wish you sound health, personal happiness, and many philatelic achievements, not only in the year 2026.
Let me invite you to our traditional in-house auction, which is for our company a small festive event, as it is already our 50th auction in which you can bid online. In 2018 we organized three small auctions on shared webs, and since 2019 we have held 46 auctions on our own internet platform. For the whole time, we have tried to create space, where experience meets enthusiasm, the past merges with the present, and the philatelic passion goes hand in hand with a simple human friendship. I am proud that it was you who became a part of this story.
Our anniversary auction will be held on Sunday, 25 January 2026, one year after our preceding in-house auction, in the Prague hotel Olympik Tristar, which has a firm place in the history of philatelic auctions in the modern era. We spent that time collecting extraordinary philatelic material for you. The present auction offers many underrated stamps valued in catalogs at lower tens of thousands crowns, but on the philatelic market they are priced much higher, as they have been unavailable for years, in some cases for decades. It also presents unique items, as well as sought-after stamps in top quality, in which they are very difficult to find.
We submit to you 1137 carefully selected lots; some of them are real treasures. I can mention, for example, the category of preliminary stamps with the blocks of four of unissued airmail stamps, and very interesting lots of 1918 rare revolutionary overprints. Traditionally, the Hradčany issue is represented very well, including complete sheets and valuable trial prints. We offer extraordinary and seldom offered items of the Czechoslovak Legion issue, as well as of the overprint issue Pošta československá 1919, with a rare subtype of the 5 K Parliament stamp as a highlight. There are many interesting and valuable lots in other issues as well, for example almost unique blocks of four of the 1922 provisional airmail stamps with inverted overprints (only four sets exist), or both unused and used Scouts’ Post stamps with the overprint „Příjezd prezidenta Masaryka“ (The Arrival of President Masaryk).
Rare items can be found in other categories as well: Czechoslovakia after 1945, Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, and especially the section of Slovakia, in which we offer the most expensive lot of the event, the extremely rare imperforated small sheet Dětem (For Children), which comes from the estate of a leading Slovak expert, Dr. Svätopluk Šablatúra. This rarity is offered in public after more than twenty years; this is why we chose it for the front page of our catalog where, in the past, we placed exclusively Czech exceptional stamps.
I hope that mere browsing through our catalog will be an enriching adventure for you, and I look forward to meeting you in person at our auction, as it is an event where philately turns into experience not only with a purchase of new items for your collections but also for the opportunity to meet other stamp collectors, as the number of such events is rapidly decreasing.
