Another large sale of 1200 lots in our Collectors' Series offeres a fine range of items to suit all pockets. The sale includes a wonderful range of West Indies Postal History from the Brian Brookes collection; a magnificent collection Cape of Good Hope pre-adhesive period postal history covering both Dutch and British periods; Labuan from the Betty Waterson collection with some unique Waterlow die proofs; A fine group of Rhodesia with Double Heads and Admirals; South Africa with a comprehensive collection of proofs, issued stamps, varieties and booklets; Sudan Airmails commencing with a superb 1914 Marc Poupre flight cover, and the stamps with superb essays, proofs and issued stamps including the unique 1933 2½p. on 5m. inverted surcharge strip with missing Arabic "wow", and concluding with the Philatelic Library formed by the late Dr. Alan Drysdall

For Lots marked with (x) VAT is chargeable on the Hammer price at the reduced rate (currently 5%) and on the Buyer's Premium at standard rate (currently 20%).
VAT on Margin scheme lots (identified by the absence of any VAT symbol next to the lot number) is payable at 20% on the Buyer’s premium only.
