Spink 19045 - The Philatelic Collectors' Series Sale
Our October Philatelic Collectors' Series sale features the 'Rooke' Collection of Gibraltar Postal History and the Colin Narbeth FRPSL collection of Sudan along with other fine philatelic rarities from across the world including fine Bermuda, a superb section of Falkland Islands with scarce essays and die proofs, an Iraq 1931 25r. violet block of four, very rare Long Island postally used on cover, handsome used examples of the 1856 British Guiana 4c. magenta and 4c. blue and also early impression used examples of the 1848 Mauritius Post Paid 1d. and 2d, a strong Great Britain section concludes the sale including an 1840 Official VR 1d. black, an unused 1862-64 3d. rose, and mint £5 orange of note.
