With over 1,400 lots of fine stamps and postal history coming under the hammer, July 26 and 27 will be a busy two days with something to interest most stamp collectors. Of note are: a fine selections of Australia, Bahamas, British East Africa, France, Gambia including a fine collection of the embossed first types with complete sheets, suitably lotted, Germany, Gold Coast, India and States, Lagos, Mauritius, New South Wales, Niger Coast Protectorate with a fine selection of the 1893 Old Calabar Provisionals, Queensland, Rhodesia with fine 1910-13 "Double Heads" including the £1 error of colour corner pair with "Gash in Ear" variety, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Swaziland with the famous Talbot Fox collection, Tasmania, Victoria, Zululand, etc. The sale concludes with Great Britain which includes interesting postal history, 1840 Penny Blacks and Two Pence Blues, Collections and Ranges, etc.
Court conditions générales
In addition to the Hammer Price, the Buyer must pay the Buyer's premium at a rate of 20% of the final Hammer Price.
For Lots marked with (o) no VAT is charged.
For Lots marked with(?), (†) or (Ω) VAT is chargeable on the Hammer price and the Buyer's premium at the standard rate (currently 20%).
For Lots marked with (x) VAT is chargeable on the Hammer price at the reduced rate (currently 5%) and on the Buyer's Premium at standard rate (currently 20%).
VAT on Margin scheme lots (identified by the absence of any VAT symbol next to the lot number) is payable at 20% on the Buyer’s premium only.
