The auction house Dr. Reinhard Fischer in Bonn will hold its 181st auction from July 23 to 24. Our 181st auction includes more than 9,800 lots with a large variety of rarities and highlights in the area of philately.
The main catalog comprises a variety of interesting lots. A used copy of the “One kreuzer black” of Bavaria (MiNo. 1IIa) in very fine condition is offered at a starting price of 1,500.-. The sought-after stamp booklet no. 17 “Rhineland stamps” of the German Reich is offered in MNH ** condition starting at 1,400.-. In the area of colonial philately, numerous special items are offered such as the 1 peseta on 80 Pfg Germania as a corner copy with margins and plate number and original printing house order no. (MiNo. 42HANU) on an extremely fine piece of cover that is almost never been offered in used condition (starting price 1,500.-). There are only three known copies of the 10 on 1 ruble of Alexanderstadt (MiNo. 15K) with inverted overprint. A copy in flawless MNH ** condition is offered starting at 4,200.-. The „Urdrucksatz“ (original printing set) of Saarland that is missing in most Saar collections starts at 1,000.- with a photo certificate Ney VP. The post-war philately section includes the liquidation of a highly specialized West Berlin collection. The collector has collected a wide variety of the plate and printing flaws of the first issues in mostly selected used condition. The 1-5 M. black overprint with AF VII each in flawless used condition (starting price 1,250.-) and the 5 M. black overprint in blackish ultramarine of which only few copies are known to date (MiNo 20c, starting price 600.-) are the highlights of this collection. The sought-after “Histrionics” souvenir sheet of the People's Republic of China with first day cancellation starts at 2,000.-.
Countless estates are offered in their original untouched condition without any item selected previously. There is something for everyone, from a strong used German Empire collection (starting price 4,000.-) to a small cancellation collection “against bids”.

Short Terms and Conditions
The sale of auction lots is subject to differential taxation. If we ship lots inside the EC, the buyer shall pay a buyers premium of 23,8 % of the hammer price and a lot fee of 3,– EUR per lot (both including VAT), also costs of shipping and insurance. If we ship lots to a country outside the EC, the buyer shall pay a buyers premium of 20 % of the hammer price and a lot fee a 3,– EUR per lot, also costs of shipping and insurance. If the goods are exported outside the EC by the buyer himself, it may be possible to refund VAT. For gold coins that are exempt from VAT, the buyer shall pay a buyers premium of 20 % of the hammer price and a lot fee a 3,– EUR per lot, also costs of shipping and insurance.
